JAC Studio & Gallery Jacqueline de Vries Bussum jac@jac.gallery www.jac.gallery/nl JAC prefers to be inspired by what is hidden behind the eyes. What have they seen, what do they evoke? There is nothing in the body that expresses love, sadness, surprise, humor, anger, pain, emotion, excitement and desire as visibly as our eyes. She is looking for that one look that touches her. She wants to paint it. Her painting style is generally realistic. Sometimes she paints in great detail with the smallest brush, and then works out other parts in a more abstract manner. The combination of working with different materials, paint types and always the finishing touch with oil paint always leads to an exciting and powerful image. She has attended masterclasses for over 15 years with renowned artists who taught her the intricacies of the trade. She has been a visual artist for over 25 years, during this time she has created many different collections, all of which are a reflection of how she experiences the world in which we all live. Her studio and gallery is located in the center of Bussum.
