My theme is often "NATURE" to get 
away from the daily hustle and the 
dominant presence of life. I translate
this into various realistic and abstract 
compositions. My use of color is 
bright with a lot of contrast. I paint 
with oil and acrylic paint and 
experiment with paper, sand, textiles, 
thickening paste, etc. My need to 
create a new reality with a canvas, 
some paint, a brush or palette 
knife arose in 1997. I experience 
painting as a tense/relaxed sensation, 
"I disappear into my canvas". 
This process is a unique experience 
and challenge. It is the way for me to 
discover and develop more about 
myself, my passion, my qualities.
Since 2007 I have been painting in
my own studio and with artists. I 
continue to work on my personal 
style. I get inspired over and over
again to keep going, which makes my 
work grow and change shape.
