Marga Boogaard is a Dutch ceramist. 
She has completed a 5-year training 
at the NKO (Dutch Ceramics Training) 
and follows various tracks such as 
abstract and geometric shapes.

All her objects are built up in layers 
and consist of hundreds of pieces of 
clay that are mounted together. She 
has made this technique of working 
her own and is unique in the world of 
ceramics. All work is made by hand.

The finish is porcelain sludge that is 
applied in a special way. This creates 
a rough finish, which strengthens the 
work even more. Because the main 
focus should be on the shape, she 
opted for calm colors such as white, 
black and terracotta.
