Saskia de Rooy invites you on a journey into her world, where people belong to nature and the difference between humans and animals fades. Where Feelings Are. The journey takes us to our hearts and along the way we find beautiful places but also fear and maybe even anger and loneliness. They are all part of life. Anchored in tradition and craft and rooted in the present, her work is sometimes raw, sometimes tender and always sincere. Never purely decorative, it gets under the skin. Saskia de Rooy is a professional and passionate sculptor with more than 25 years of experience. She makes and sells her work in the Netherlands and around the world and teaches nationally and internationally. Art lovers and collectors from all over the world have appreciated her work for decades.
