Simone Boon is a Dutch experimental photographer. From an early age her life had a nomadic character. Living amid different cultures and religions had a great influence on her art. In 2020 she returned from Hong Kong to Europe and lives and works in Amsterdam and Antwerp. Her photography explores the fleeting essence of life. Identity is seen as always evolving from a feminine perspective. Time, space and place merge and are lifted above a linear concept of time. With her camera she creates surprising visual shapes that could not have been seen with the naked eye.
