Susan Schoemaker has been a 
sculptor for more than twenty 
years. In her studio in Amsterdam 
she paints expansive landscapes 
and portraits in beautiful colors, 
the intense gazes of which stay 
with you for a long time. She very 
subtly simplifies the world around 
her into almost abstract paintings. 
Her bronze sculptures exude an 
atmosphere of strength, tranquility 
and balance. The images are all
unique pieces.
